Vice President of Engineering

Job Description A high-growth B2B SaaS company is looking for a Vice President of Engineering to lead its engineering organisation through the next phase of scale. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to structure, and evolve high-performing teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional software products.

Reporting to the CTO, you'll lead a growing engineering function of 50-100 people across multiple teams and disciplines. You'll be responsible for defining and evolving the engineering strategy, improving delivery performance, and enabling a culture of autonomy, quality, and continuous improvement.

Vice President of Engineering – day-to-day:
Own the engineering operating model; from team structure to delivery processes to support growth and complexity.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between technology and product outcomes.
Drive technical and delivery excellence, using metrics (e.g. DORA) to measure and improve team performance.
Influence architectural and platform decisions in line with the company’s long-term strategy.
