Owen Payne Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf our client who are a large, well-known family run Distribution and Logistics company and We are actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician within the Wednesbury area on a straight, permanent contract from day 1.
As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will oversee the safe and efficient preparation of varied fleet, working alongside a range of manufacturers and models to develop your skills and remain up to date with the latest vehicle technology.

Competitive salary Paying upto £45,000.00 per annum
Permanent from day 1
Monday to Friday 14:00 till 22:00 (Flexible with start and finish times)
20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Christmas Shutdown
Onsite canteen

The ideal candidate will possess
Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - Desirable dependent on length of experience
Experience in wiring and camera maintenance - Desirable
Experience in car service and repair - Essential
Full and valid UK driving licence - Essential
Great attention to detail - Essential
Strong organisational skills - Essential
Key duties of the role include -
Working with Renault Vans
Ensuring Vans are road worthy
Inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues
Carry out mechanical, electrical and engine repair work, where required
Communicate with team members / managers to explain repair findings and recommendations
Utilisting your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
Carry out vehicle health checks and road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and road worthy
Utilise diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues with Renault
