Transport Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, implementing, and managing Resident Parking Schemes (RPS) across specific areas of the city.
Ensuring schemes are efficient, legally compliant, and responsive to the needs of residents, businesses, and stakeholders.
Developing schemes, engaging with stakeholders, and conducting consultations.
Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance with relevant legislation such as the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Managing financial oversight and budgeting for projects.
Monitoring performance and reporting to senior decision-makers.
Balancing multiple projects and setting up organisational plans to manage workloads effectively.

Job Requirements:

Experience in parking management, highways, transport planning, or local authority operations.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Financial acumen and experience with budgeting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing reports for senior decision-makers.
