The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator/Network and Logistics Operator, to join our client based in Farlington, Portsmouth.
Duties to include, but not limited to: Providing efficient and professional service to customers, depots and drivers
Answering and dealing with telephone calls
Dealing with and responding to emails
Booking jobs onto bespoke computer systems
Adhere to both company and statutory legislation
Book and coordinate deliveries and collection, both via the routing system and directly with drivers
The ideal candidate will have/be: Experience in a similar role within a similar environment
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Organisational and time-management skills
Fully computer literate
Customer service skills
Attention to detail
Can-do attitude
Written and verbal communication skills
Own method of transport
The role of Transport Administrator is on a temp-to-perm basis, meaning the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.
