Role:

A global manufacturing organisation requires an experienced Training Lead to define and deliver a major ERP training rollout. This is a critical “hands on” role and needs experience in managing suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidate will:

* Deliver end-to-end management/oversight of a strategic training programme

* Conduct and document the business Training Needs Analysis (TNA),

* Source, onboard/mobilise a 3rd-party training provider via a Request For Quotation (RFQ) selection process,

* Manage the successful delivery of the training workstream including all internal and external resources

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, project management skills, and experience in developing and implementing enterprise-level training programmes. Key to success will be the ability to review, source and select the appropriate training provider(s) in a limited timeframe.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Proven delivery of successful ERP training programs (preferably D365)

* Knowledge of modern learning methodologies (e-learning, face to face etc)

* Proven experience in a Training Manager or Learning & Development leadership role.

* Strong knowledge of training lifecycle – from strategy to delivery and evaluation.

* Experience producing RFQs and managing third-party providers.

* Experience conducting and delivering documented TNAs in complex environments.

* Understanding of adult learning principles and digital/modern training methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

* Experience within heavy construction equipment industry.

* Professional certification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or above, ATD, APMG, PRINCE2).

* Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and e-learning solutions.

* Experience in change management and learning evaluation methodologies.

The role is partially remote, with 2-3 days per week in Cambridge (some travel will be required within UK and Europe).
