Trainer - Surveying Technician

Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced Trainer - Surveying Technician. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality training programmes aligned to the Surveying Technician (Level 3) apprenticeship standard. The Trainer will support learners in acquiring the technical knowledge, professional behaviours, and practical skills needed for success in surveying roles across the construction, land, and property sectors.This includes delivering structured classroom sessions, workshops, and workplace coaching tailored to employer requirements, while guiding learners through core topics such as land and building measurement, data collection, CAD use, health & safety, and sustainability in surveying.

Role responsibilities and requirements:

* Design and deliver engaging training programmes for Surveying Technician apprentices, using a range of delivery models including classroom, remote, and on-site sessions.

* Prepare training materials including schemes of work, session plans, learner resources, and assessment activities in line with apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements.

* Provide clear instruction and coaching on technical topics such as:

* Measured surveys (e.g. topographical, building)

* Use of digital surveying equipment (e.g. Total Stations, GPS)

* Construction technology and methods

* Site safety and risk assessments
