Trainee Nail Technician wanted - Unlock your potential
* Permanent Part-time – Thursday to Sunday
* Salary - £18 – 21,000 + Training
* Location - Margate, Thanet
We are a small salon based in the heart of Margate and are looking to expand our friendly, busy team. We’re all about nail health, the use of good quality products and the provision of great client care and to do that we really need to find someone who wants to learn to be the best.
The role is going to offer hands-on and academic training in nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, along with the opportunity to learn about different nail art and styles. It is going require someone to be motivated, hard-working and willing to put the time in but the rewards and potential to develop a fantastic and enjoyable career are very much available.
So, what do we need:
* Passion for Beauty and Nail Care: A genuine interest in nail care and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
* Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Must have good written and spoken English, plus some IT skills
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality nail care services.
* Reliability and Punctuality: Ability to be reliable and punctual, arriving on time for work which is Thursday - Sunday and until 19:00
* Openness to Learning: Willingness to embrace new techniques and technologies in the nail care industry and be prepared to study/practice in your own time too.
We’re really open to talking to ALL candidates who have a passion to do this but as we’ll be paying for and leading training, we are looking for commitment, enthusiasm, reliability and patience because we envisage it being 6-12 months before you’re really going to become confident.
