Annual Salary: £23,000- £25,000

Reed Brighton is working with a well-established practice who have been running for over 100 years. They are seeking to add a Trainee Accountant on to their growing team, so this role is ideal for someone who has some practice experience or has started their AAT, ACCA, or ACA studies.
Day-to-day of the role:
Preparation and submission of VAT and CIS Returns.
Providing bookkeeping services using Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent, and Sage.
Preparation of sole trader accounts and self-assessment tax returns.
Preparation of limited company financial statements and corporation tax computations.
Handling company secretarial filings.
Liaising with HMRC to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Some practice experience or commencement of AAT, ACCA, or ACA studies.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent, and Sage.
Strong understanding of VAT and CIS returns.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective liaising with HMRC and clients.
