Job Title: Trade Counter Salesperson

Location: Cheshire
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + 10% Profit Share
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, alternating Saturday mornings
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We’re recruiting a Trade Counter Salesperson for a respected Builders Merchant in Cheshire. This is a customer-facing sales role ideal for someone with previous sales experience who enjoys building strong relationships, providing excellent service, and working as part of a small, close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve customers at the trade counter, offering product advice and upselling where appropriate.

Process orders efficiently, both in person and over the phone.

Build and maintain relationships with regular trade customers.

*

Support the team with stock control, displays, and general branch duties.

*

Ensure the trade counter is always well-presented and stocked.

Key Requirements:

Previous Sales Experience in a trade counter or similar customer-facing role.

Confident communicator with great people skills and a positive attitude.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

*

Proactive, hardworking, and a real team player.

*

Knowledge of building materials (preferred).
