Are you a seasoned Tool Room professional ready to step into a leadership role? Join a leading Plastics Injection moulding company, as our next Tool Room Manager and help drive performance, quality, and innovation in our tooling operations.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Developing the team and managing the apprenticeship programme.
• Lead a team of toolmakers and technicians, promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. (right first time)
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve tooling issues and improve processes.
• Repair and Modify existing tooling
• Documentation for regular maintenance of tooling.
• Correct labelling and marking of tools

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Tool Room Supervisor or Manager in a plastics injection moulding environment
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC machinery,
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD files.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop team members.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Fully Hardened Steel production tools.
• Experience with hot runner systems/Valve gates and manifolds
