Job Overview: Working with our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Toolmaker to join their team.

Remit:
As a Toolmaker you will be responsible for the repair and service of injection moulding machine tools and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
This role would suit a skilled Injection Moulding Toolmaker however Tooling Engineers, Bench Hands and Precision Engineers will also be considered as training and development can be offered.
Responsibilities: Build, repair and maintain tooling
Proactively deal with mould breakdowns.
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks.
Insert change mould tools when needed.
Test mould functionality after repairs water pressure / leak testing and electrical.
Record works done in the daily logs and maintenance schedule.
Report any spare parts needed to supervision.
Keep the work area clean and tidy.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Mindful of personal H+S whilst carrying out all tasks.
Requirements:
Time served toolroom engineer / Toolmaker.
Good attention to detail.
Conversant with all tool room practices and machinery.
Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience would be an advantage.
Team player but could work unsupervised when needed.
Computer literate.
Be open to further training and ongoing development.
