Location: North West London
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £23.41 per hour (umbrella rate)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tiler to join a reputable housing provider's repairs and maintenance team in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of high-quality housing and become an integral part of a growing team with long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:

Measure and mark surfaces to plan layout and ensure precise tile alignment.
Cut tiles using hand tools or power tools to fit around obstacles and into corners.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives or waterproofing.
Lay tiles in accordance with design plans and customer specifications.
Apply grout and sealants and clean finished surfaces.
Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and site supervisors.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workspace.
Requirements:

Proven experience in tiling, preferably within the social housing sector.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
Full UK driving license (maximum 6 points)
Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check upon successful placement.Benefits:
