Your Role Will Involve:

*

Teaching Textiles at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for enrichment or GCSE/A-Level depending on expertise

*

Delivering practical lessons focused on fashion, textile art, sustainability, and technical skills

*

Supporting students in developing their own creative projects from concept through to product

*

Encouraging the use of both traditional and digital design techniques

*

Contributing to curriculum development, school exhibitions, and extra-curricular clubs such as fashion design, costume-making, or upcycling

We Are Looking For a Teacher Who:

*

Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Textiles, Art & Design, or Design & Technology

*

Brings a passion for design and a creative, student-centred teaching approach

*

Has excellent practical skills and the ability to teach both theory and application in Textiles

*

Is confident managing a workshop environment with a strong focus on safety and skill development

*

Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive education, innovation, and ongoing professional development
