My client is seeking a dedicated Technician to join their team in Worcester.
The role involves preparing and calibrating hardness machine test blocks, assisting the laboratory manager, and ensuring efficient operation within the calibration laboratory.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
Perform daily checks on all calibration equipment and accurately record results.
Manage stock of raw materials against incoming orders.

Prepare steel, aluminium, and brass test blocks.

Communicate with sales to advise on estimated delivery dates for incoming orders.

Physically move test blocks between work processing areas for picking, calibration, engraving, and packing.

Operate Rockwell, Vickers, Brinell, and other reference calibration equipment.

Record and calculate results, assign certificate numbers, and print.

Use optical equipment to calculate indent size and test block hardness, record results, and process certification.

Use a laser engraver to mark test blocks with serial numbers...
