Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our talented and expanding team, delivering world-class smart locking solutions to new and existing customers in the UK and Ireland. You will become an expert in after sales technical support, commissioning locking systems to suit end client’s requirements.
As the Technical Sales Engineer you will have a strong drive to not only meet the job requirements but to actively look to grow and develop the sector.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in Technical Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
To actively pursue and grow the current customer base and develop new business accounts within the whole of the UK & Ireland, and to pursue and respond to all sales and technical enquiries by telephone, email, or by site visits.
To become an expert on technical knowledge about the products being sold to provide a comprehensive and informed service to customers and potential customers and to respond to queries, aftersales and end client system set up.
Supported by Sales and Technical Support, obtain new customers through networking, social media and sales leads, with an ability to spot opportunities and a passion to use initiative to grow the sector.
Required Skills:
2 years + experience in technical sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
Possess or have a strong intertest in IT and Cloud systems.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel daily as required.
