Job Description Tech Scale Up Advisor
Length of Contract: 6 months
Rate: Negotiable
Hours: 2 days per week
Venn Group are currently working with a Local Authority based in South Yorkshire who are seeking a Tech Scale Up Advisor on a temporary basis. The role will be 2 days based in and around South Yorkshire.
Main duties of the job:
The consultant will provide tailored, high-impact advisory support to early-stage tech businesses, including:
Strategic Guidance: Facilitate 1-2-1 advisory sessions with startup founders, helping them define and prioritise.
MVP Development: Provide insights on product development, guiding businesses from concept to MVP, and testing market viability.
Investment Readiness: Offer advice on preparing for investment where appropriate, including pitch deck development, funding strategies, and introductions to investors.
Ecosystem Navigation: Connect startups to relevant business support initiatives, grants, and funding opportunities.
Stakeholder Introductions: Leverage your network to introduce startups to key investors, mentors, and industry experts who can accelerate their growth.
