If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Team Manager to join the Dudley Council - Adolescent Safeguarding

This is a full-time role offering up to £40 per hour.

Here's the Role:


  • Provide strong operational leadership, vision, and direction to a team of Social Workers, ASYEs, Trainee Social Workers, and Young Person's Advisors.
  • Ensure the delivery of responsive, effective, and high-quality social work services to adolescents at risk, in line with statutory requirements, legislation, and local policies.
  • Oversee complex decision-making around adolescent safeguarding, care planning, and risk management, ensuring a child-centred approach.
  • Manage workload allocation effectively, monitor statutory timescales, and drive performance to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
  • Provide regular, reflective supervision and support staff development through appraisals, identifying training needs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and practice excellence.
  • Promote and embed Dudley's restorative practice approach and the principles of our Family Safeguarding model, working collaboratively with young people and their families.
  • Champion multi-agency collaboration, representing the service at strategic meetings, conferences, and case discussions with partners such as Youth Justice, Police, Health, Education, and Housing.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including case audits and performance monitoring, to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Manage delegated budgets and resources effectively, ensuring best value.
  • Actively contribute to strategic developments and service improvements for adolescents and their families in Dudley.

Requirements:


  • Social Work England registered
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS

Experience:


  • Children's Social Work
