Are you a passionate and motivated leader looking to make a real difference in homeless people's lives? We are seeking a Team Leader to supervise and coordinate a team, ensuring high-quality support for homeless people or people who are at risk of becoming homeless in our services.

Key Responsibilities
Property Management : Oversee property acquisitions, disposals, and voids to ensure efficient re-letting, timely repairs, and adherence to safety standards, including annual H&S checks and gas safety compliance. Monitor housing assistants' inspections and ensure properties meet Adullam standards.
Tenancy Management : Implement transparent selection processes, manage breaches of occupancy agreements, and address arrears proactively. Resolve incidents of anti-social behaviour, harassment, and complaints, involving relevant agencies as needed. Handle eviction processes, including serving notices and court representation. Ensure residents understand tenancy obligations and ensure regular visits by Housing Assistants.
Management Duties : Maintain accurate records for void management, tenancy sign-ups, and complaints. Produce performance reports, provide clear administrative systems for assistants, and supervise staff performance, including conducting reviews. Offer guidance and mentoring to Assistant Housing Officers and attend management meetings.
Financial Management : Maximise rental income, reduce void losses, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Relationships & Partnerships : Foster effective internal and external relationships with support teams, local authorities, and other agencies. Promote services to stakeholders and challenge behaviours not aligned with Adullam's values.
Quality Assurance : Meet service standards set by the Homes and Communities Agency, report on performance, and assist in audit improvements. Encourage resident involvement and promote equality and diversity across all services.

Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour

Working Time: 37.5 hours per week

Contract type: Temporary leading to permanent.

What We're Looking For:
Experience in Homeless people's supported accommodation and working with vulnerable individuals.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, mental health, housing, and equality legislation.
Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team.
Experience in referral and assessment pathways, risk assessment, and multi-agency working.
IT proficiency to maintain electronic records and reports.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
NVQ/Diploma in a relevant field.
Knowledge of electronic record systems such as Pyramid.
Experience managing budgets and resource planning.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance.
