Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a driven team at a school in Burnage, Manchester. In this exciting Teaching Assistant role, your main responsibility will be to support within a challenging Key Stage 2 class. Your main responsibility will be to offer general classroom support to the class teacher. This post is required from September 2025, and you will be required for a full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• supporting students' learning and well-being
• assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
• support with intervention for small groups of children

Essential requirements:

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

• Have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Have previous schools-based experience
• Have strong Written and spoken English skills
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
