Day-to-day of the role: Offer targeted support to students with special educational needs, focusing on social, emotional, and mental health aspects.
Assist teachers in the development and execution of lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, ensuring all students feel supported and valued.
Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them overcome challenges.
Collaborate with school staff and fellow Learning Support Assistants to promote holistic student achievement.
Help administer assessments and tests, creating a supportive and understanding testing environment.
