Location: Dorset

Pay Rate: £12.37- £13.49 per hour or £22,102.72 - £24,103.93 per annum

Job Type: Permanent 40 hours per week, Term time only

Your role:


  • Assist the class teacher in delivering effective lessons
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Provide individual support to facilitate student learning
  • Monitor student progress and report the findings to the teacher and parents.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures

Our requirements:


  • Level 2 Teaching qualification
  • Genuine passion and experience in handling SEN children
  • Relevant teaching assistant experience in the UK schools
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Two Professional references
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies

Required Skills:


  • Commitment towards student support and holistic development
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Competent ICT skills
  • Able to work within the parameters of the physical demands of the job role
