The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including those requiring assistance with moving and handling.Responsibilities:Provide tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.Assist with personal care and moving and handling tasks in accordance with training and health and safety guidelines.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.Assist with classroom management and organization.Participate in training and professional development opportunities.Requirements:Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).Moving and Handling training or willingness to undergo training.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
