Are you a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the DE21 area to recruit a talented Music Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis until 31st December 2025.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to the school’s thriving performing arts department. The school has a strong commitment to the arts, and they are seeking a teacher who can motivate and challenge students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Prepare students for practical and written music assessments and performances.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as school concerts or ensembles.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support the wider school ethos.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Music at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
A passion for music education and a track record of inspiring students.
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Contract Details:
Start Date: ASAP or 2nd June
End Date: 31st December 2025
Location: DE21 area
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
