We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.
Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with individuals and their families.
Encourage and facilitate participation in social and recreational activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals we support.
Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and other professionals.
Requirements
Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities is desirable.
Three 12-hour shifts per week.You will need an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Registration with Social Care Wales is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
