We support nearly 2,000 vulnerable adults in specialist residential, supported living and outreach services, enabling them through exceptional care and support to live their best possible life.Our vision is ‘A life without limits for the people we support’ which reflects our culture of a knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated workforce.2023 is incredibly exciting year for the charity as after a recent rebrand we have now moved into our new central office, we are restructuring the charity and continuing to grow our services across the North of England.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Role:Providing care and support for adults with Severe Mental Health needs, whose behaviour may challenge services.You will support clients to live the life they want, supporting them with daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning. You will support them to attend health appointments and access the community in which they live. You will support individuals to manage their medication appropriately and safely.You will support clients to access the right professionals, resources and facilitiesYou will work closely with a talented manager and ensure the service meets the needs of all individuals it supports and that the service is compliant with organisational policy and local authority regulations.The CandidateThe Candidate:You will have a caring, supportive, person centred attitude, be confident and well organised with the ability to adapt to situations quickly as every day is different.Its desirable (not essential) that you have some experience of working in a care/supported living environment and with adults with mental health needs.Proven track record of working and communicating as part of a team, working in a face paced environment.What our client is looking for:Someone who supports me to go about my daily life, listens to me and what I want and supports me to achieve it.An understanding person who can guide me to further support or guidance when i may need it.A person who acknowledges me for who I am and will treat me with respect and dignityBenefitsSt. Anne's wants to reward its employees for their hard work.
