Key Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons and support student learning as directed by the Head Teacher, often with short notice.
- Uphold positive behaviour management and ensure student safety during all activities.
- Address administrative and pastoral needs for assigned classes or groups.
- Set challenging tasks aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to student's needs and abilities.
- Mark and record work following school policies, maintaining high standards of student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Driving ability preferred, especially for rural school locations.
- Minimum availability of 2 days per week.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
