Position: Supply Chain Manager Salary: £40,000 + £45,000 + Final Salary Pension Location: Blackpool
If you're an experienced supply chain professional who knows how to lead with empathy not ego this could be the role that finally lets you put your mark on a business that genuinely wants to do things right.
This isnt just about placing and chasing orders. Its about reshaping a function, supporting a team through change, and helping a heritage business hit its net zero targets by 2035.
Heres the role in a nutshell:
Youll lead a team of four buyers a capable group whove been good at the traditional day-to-day but need nurturing, not pushing, to evolve into a more strategic, commercially minded function.
Your job is to guide them through that shift. Build trust. Develop confidence. Lead with consistency and care.
Youll also take the reins on supplier strategy negotiating with UK-based partners (95% domestic) to reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and secure continuity of supply through robust contingency planning.
