MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager will lead the Procurement and Warehouse function of the business, ensuring best cost, service and delivery is achieved through rigorous supplier selection and monitoring. This job role will oversee the goods-inwards, warehouse, and dispatch function, ensuring high levels of inventory management are achieved, while also maximising OTIF deliveries to our customer base. The jobholder will manage the departments performance to ensure adherence to agreed targets and budgets. This encompasses not only financial KPIs but also quality assurance, environmental impact and other performance measures.
MAJOR OBJECTIVES: Warehouse and Logistics 1. Development of targeted KPIs for department around OTD/OTIF deliveries to customers 2. Negotiate with current and new logistics providers to reduce transport cost, drive service improvement, and reduce supply risk to the business 3. Accountability for the warehouse labour budget 4. Team management Ensuring there are clear succession plans for key positions or processes within the department, enabling employee development while also reducing business operational risk
