JOB DESCRIPTION

Subcontractor Ledger Assistant | Nr Bamber Bridge | Permanent

Up to £28,000 per annum DOE

Monday to Friday

KPI Recruiting are currently working with a well-established, reputable business who are looking for a Subcontractor Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has previous experience working in a finance / accounts capacity within the construction industry.

You will be:

Keeping subcontractor information up-to-date, including bank details, CIS status, and other relevant data
Verifying, processing, and posting subcontractor invoices accurately and timely
 Preparing and processing payments to subcontractors according to agreed terms
 Regularly reconciling subcontractor accounts and resolving any discrepancies
 Ensuring compliance with HMRC CIS regulations, processing CIS returns and deducting the appropriate tax
 Communicating with subcontractors and other relevant parties to address queries and resolve issues
 Assisting with month-end processes, reporting, and ad-hoc duties within the wider finance team
You will have:

Experience working within a similar role within the construction industry
Working knowledge of Evision / COINS software
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to financial tasks
Confident problem-solver with a proactive attitude
A reliable team player with excellent communication skills
