Strategic Account Manager
Location: UK (flexible/hybrid)
Benefits: £38,000 - £55,000 + Double OTE and more
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to look after key clients in specific sectors. This is all about building long-term relationships and helping customers get real value from the cloud-based technologies provided.
It's a role for someone who's proactive, commercially minded, and great at working cross-functionally. You'll need to balance growing existing accounts with making sure clients are consistently supported and engaged - and that we're always seen as easy to do business with.
We are looking for individuals that have sold into sectors including retail/travel, manufacturing or public sector.
What you'll be doing:
Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of strategic customers.
Build and deliver clear account plans with short-term wins and long-term goals.
Work closely with colleagues in customer success, product, and delivery to align on customer priorities.
Understand the customer's business inside-out so you can recommend the right solutions and spot opportunities for growth.
Make sure the company stay relevant and useful - not just a vendor, but a trusted partner.
Keep everyone on the same page internally to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and commercial targets are hit.
What you'll need:
Strong background in account management or B2B sales, ideally in the tech or cloud services space.
Experience working with large or complex clients.
A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering value - not just hitting sales targets.
Confident communicator who can engage at all levels, including C-suite.
Able to juggle multiple priorities and keep everything moving without dropping the ball.
Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office.
You'll need to be someone who takes ownership and genuinely cares about customer outcomes.
