Job Title: Part-Time Stores Person
Location: Newton Aycliffe
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm (20 hours per week)
Salary: £15.27 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and proactive Stores Person to join a well-established manufacturing site in Newton Aycliffe. This part-time position plays a vital role in supporting the smooth running of goods-in and goods-out processes, stock control, and material issuing across the site.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team during a key phase of investment and site development. Full training will be provided, and there is opportunity for the role to grow over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Logging and managing deliveries in and out of the site

Issuing materials, tools, and stock to relevant departments

*

Monitoring and maintaining stock levels

*

Supporting the shipping function as needed

*

Maintaining a clean and organised stores environment

*

Handling components and materials – including basic chemical handling (training provided)

What We’re Looking For:

*

Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment (essential)

*

Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on role

*

Confident communicator – able to speak with various teams across the site

*

Willingness to learn and support other areas when needed (e.g., shipping)

*

A counterbalance FLT licence is desirable (training can be provided)

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
