Stores Person - aerospace | Contract | 6 months | Inside IR35 | Onsite | Guildford
Are you a Stores Person / Materials Controller looking for a new contract opportunity? Do you want to work within a team working on cutting edge spacecraft and payload projects?

As a Stores Person, you will be responsible for managing controlled stock receipts, movements, dispatch and materials control, while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized warehouse/stores area.
Support goods-in receiving and resolve any purchase order or delivery discrepancies.
Pick, kit, and issue materials for project activities.
Organize and pack items for dispatch, coordinating with stakeholders to meet requirements.
Assist the Mechanical Inspector as needed.
Follow team policies and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Team/Group Leader.What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in stores, ideally within the electronics or aerospace industry.
Results-driven with a strong commitment to quality and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work methodically under pressure.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings (desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Excel proficiency preferred).
Must be able to pass a basic pre-employment screening (BPSS)
