Stores & Logistics Controller

We are recruiting a Stores and Logistics Controller in Caerphilly.

You will be working within a small team reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader and will provide extensive support to the Bedwas operation ensuring customer requests are fulfilled. As part of this role, you will be stores based, and the right person requires good communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills and ability to maintain key relationships.

Stores & Logistics Controller Benefits:

• Up to £26,000 pa.
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday days.

As Stores & Logistics Controller, you will:

• Deal with customer request for materials, sales & exchange enquiries.
• Meet AOG deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare orders for shipments to venders and customers.
• Expedite deliveries with couriers.
• Enter data entry via Quantum.
• Maintain an organised filing system.
• Receive materials into the company from suppliers.
• Complete quality control inspection of materials received.
• Handle and store aeronautical parts including electro sensitive devices.
• Deal with queries and rejected parts.
• Pack parts for dispatch either domestic or export.
• Upkeep of shipping documentation.

Stores & Logistics Controller Desirable Skills & Experience:

• A practical interest in aviation and engineering.
• Relevant experience in the aerospace industry ideally gained from working within a stores or a logistics environment.
• Working knowledge of Quantum Inventory system.
• Forklift truck licence.
• Hazardous goods in transit certificate.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work using own initiative.
