Job Title: Steel Fixer
Location: Hinkley Point, Somerset
Contract: Full-time | Pay: £22-£23 per hour | Paid fortnightly

MCG Construction are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to join the Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build - one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and secure steel reinforcement bars/mesh for concrete structures.
Interpret technical reinforcement drawings and schedules.
Cut, bend, tie, and assemble rebar as per specification.
Support safe and accurate concrete pours.
Maintain high nuclear industry quality and safety standards.What We Offer:

Initial hours: Monday-Friday (rotating shifts may include evenings/nights).

CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue) card essential. (Unfortunately we cannot accept GQA or Green CSCS cards for this role)
Experience in construction/rebar installation essential.
Ability to read and follow reinforcement drawings.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
Desirable: IPAF, Harness Training, Abrasive Wheels certification.
