Teaching Assistant - SEND Support
Location: Hillingdon, London
Start Date: June 2025 (with potential extension into the 2025-26 academic year)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £95 per day
Hours: 8:15 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
A welcoming and well-organised primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to students with special educational needs. This full-time position commences in June, with the possibility of continuation throughout the next academic year based on a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one support for students with additional needs (year group to be confirmed)
Assisting small groups within the classroom to facilitate learning
Collaborating closely with classroom teachers to deliver tailored support plans
Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, and those requiring behavioural guidance
Candidate Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEND and EAL
Effective behaviour management skills
A calm, flexible, and proactive approach to learning support
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
