A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in North London is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from Easter. You will work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a particular focus on supporting those with special educational needs (SEN). This hands-on role is ideal for aspiring teachers or educational professionals looking to build their experience in a secondary school setting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, supporting students in their learning.

One-to-One and Group Work: Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students with SEN, helping them reach their full potential.

Resource Preparation: Help organise and create learning materials to support teaching across various subjects.

Monitoring Progress: Track student development, share observations with teaching staff, and contribute to ongoing assessments.

Extracurricular Involvement: Take part in school clubs, enrichment activities, and educational trips to enhance the student experience.

What We're Looking For:

A Graduate Degree: Strong preference for graduates in Maths, English, Science, Languages, Sport, or Humanities, though all disciplines are welcome.

Relevant Experience: Prior work with young people (e.g., tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or youth work) is highly valued.

A Passion for Education: A genuine desire to support and inspire the next generation of learners.

Strong Organisation and Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and manage responsibilities effectively.
