We have a new job opportunity (part time, 3 days a week) for a Spanish speaking Finance Assistant to join an international company in central London. They have developed fantastic, long term business relationships with global organisations, proving to them an excellent recruitment service that has created strong business relationships over many years.Job responsibilities of the Spanish speaking Finance AssistantIn order to support their clients in Spain with daily finance operations, they now wish to hire a Spanish speaking Finance Assistant. You will focus areas in accounting such as wages, payroll, sales ledger, purchase ledger and VAT returns according to Spanish law. Working closely with their accountant based in Spain, your job will typically cover the following duties and responsibilities:Manages wages & salary information to the Accountant in Spain (enter Wage journals and make payments etc onto the accounting system)Sales Ledger activities - produce sales invoices, enter them on accounting SystemPurchase Ledger - manage supplier invoices, enter them on accounting System and make supplier paymentsBank reconciliation against the Accounting SystemManage basic Human Resources duties (issuing Contracts, renewals and extensions)Maintain Employee Records - payroll etcProduce VAT Reports for the Accountant in SpainThe successful candidate backgroundFluent Spanish and English is essentialPrevious accounting experience relating to Spain and business lawSales & Purchased ledger experienceKnowledge of VAT regulations for SpainHR knowledge for Spain is an advantageHighly organized with excellent attention to detailSalary, benefits and working hoursA negotiable base salary of c 38,000 pro rata (this is a 3 day a week job).
