Family Support Social Worker in South Wales
A Local Authority in South Wales is seeking an experienced Social Worker who is locally based for their Family Support & Protection service which works directly with children and families to prevent harm.
Here are the details:
Will be joining a small and stable team that has a supportive manager who provides regular and effective supervision - at least once a month.
The team operate a hybrid working pattern where you can work from home 2-3 times a week helping you balance other commitments with work.
Caseloads are very well managed within the team and the service generally have a lower caseload when compared to neighbouring Local Authorities so you wont have to work evenings or weekends to catch up with work.
Longer contracts are also being offered providing stability and security
Interviews are being arranged as CV's are received so could give you an opportunity to get into a new role quickly.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a long term assignment in a small team with a very supportive manager. As the team is small all members receive supervision on a monthly basis so you can be sure that you will have the space to discuss your cases with the manager so that you can be confident with your work. The team also operate a hybrid working pattern where you will be able to work from home 2-3 times a week giving you the space and time to catch up on admin but also balance other commitment which you may have.
Long term contracts are being offered so it can provide security and stability for the foreseeable future so you wont have to worry about your next contract providing peace of mind. Furthermore caseloads are very well managed in the team and the overall caseload in the service is much lower than neighbouring local authorities so you wont have to worry about working into the evenings or weekends to catch up with work.
