Sourcing Manager

Job DescriptionDue to restructuring within our Public Sector Clients Strategic Sourcing Team, they are now looking to appoint two Sourcing Managers to work within the Estates Category and the Corporate and Laboratory Teams.The Sourcing Managers will work closely with the Head of Sourcing and manage the operational delivery and contract management of their portfolio in the category. Responsibilities of the role will include:Undertake end-to-end tendering for the Framework Agreements in the portfolioBe the point of contact for members for the use of Framework AgreementsUndertake strategy development and market analysisContract Management of suppliers within their portfolio of workEmbed responsible procurement activity into the end-to-end tendering processManage or participate in other projects as requiredKnowledge and experience required for the role:Experience working in Public Sector ProcurementHave strong knowledge of UK and Scottish procurement legislation and of the legislative requirements of other Framework AgreementsExperience in contract drafting and negotiationHave procurement experience and be experienced in the tendering and management of a broad range of commoditiesDemonstrate sound commercial knowledgeProvide outstanding customer and stakeholder service levelsKnowledge of the ethical/social and environmental impacts occurring in the supply chainThese roles can be based in either Glasgow or StirlingOur client offers a suite of benefits including a 9-Day fortnight, hybrid working and flexible working around core hours.If you would like to discuss these opportunities in more detail please send your CV today….
