Client Details

My client are an innovative Technology business who are recruiting a Project Manager off the back of a period of business growth.

As Project Manager, you will manage the implementation and delivery of software solutions with external customers.

This is a permanent role with hybrid working, based in Cheshire.

Description

Responsible for the overall management and execution of large, complex, and strategically significant customer programmes.
Responsible for budget, quality, risk management, schedule, documentation, training, scope, and customer management throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsible for the development of customer Software Functional Specification ensuring full scope coverage in adherence to contract requirements.
Responsible for management of the customer relating to all software elements within the scope of the project.
Drive and maintain customer engagement.
Responsible for planning and forecasting all project related costs.
Responsible for variations to the software scope ensuring they are costed and delivered to agreed schedule.
Produce and maintain software delivery schedule, risks and issues. Monitor, and report progress internally and externally.
Work closely with technical teams, manage the backlog and task assignment to the team.
Contribute to improving the processes and tools to deliver software projects.
Contribute to the growth strategy and help with initiatives to shape delivery.Profile

Proven experience as a Project Manager, working for a Software Supplier, Software Vendor, or Software House delivering software to external customers.
Customer-facing experience as a Project Manager delivering software to external clients.
Certification in Prince2.
Experience with waterfall and agile (Kanban) delivery models.
Experience working with Developers, Software Engineers and Architects using best practice PM tools.
Track record of successful delivery of complex, large scale, IT-led real time projects
An ability to manage both internal technical resource but also set expectations with end customers as to scope of delivery and timescales.
Self-sufficiency, a pro-active attitude, flexibility to take responsibility to solve customer problems.
Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal, including listening.Job Offer

Salary range of £60,000 - £75,000+ DOE, with potential for more for the right candidate
