Social Worker - Child Protection

Job Title: Social Worker - Child Protection Team Location: Lancashire Pay Rate: £ 37/per hour
Liquid Personnel is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team of our esteemed client. In this role, Social Workers will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and their families. The position involves identifying needs, ensuring safety, and monitoring progress in accordance with the Children Act, Service policies, and relevant legislation. Additionally, responsibilities include managing and supervising child placements, as well as adhering to fostering and adoption standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and well-being of children, young people, and their families.
Conduct thorough and timely assessments following regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with various agencies, children, and families in the assessment and planning process.
Manage complex and diverse caseloads, maintaining high standards of casework.
Mentor and support less experienced Social Workers, co-working cases as necessary.
Develop care plans that reflect the views and wishes of children and young people.
Maintain detailed case records and produce required reports.
