Start Date - September 2025
Hours - Full time
Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a secondary school in the Canterbury area who are looking to recruit an outstanding Social Sciences Teacher for a September start - full time. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching Social Sciences across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school setting.
The role:
Plan and deliver Social Sciences lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
Monitor progress and provide additional support to ensure every student achieves their full potential
Liaise closely with the Social Sciences Departments, attending meetings and CPD training when required
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
Proven experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 students within a secondary setting
Excellent behaviour management skills
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Social Sciences
Legal Right to Work in the UK
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
