Job Title: Site Manager – CAT B Fit-Out
Location: Oxford Science Park

Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

4Site Recruitment are currently looking for a driven and capable Site Manager to support delivery on a fast-paced CAT B commercial fit-out project based at Oxford Science Park. This is a long-term contract role running until at least Easter 2026, with the opportunity to work on a high-value, multi-floor scheme.

The Role:

You will support an in-house Senior Site Manager across a £5.5m, 3-floor CAT B fit-out. The role involves:

Enforcing health & safety compliance on-site

Monitoring subcontractor work and ensuring high-quality standards

Reading and interpreting drawings confidently

Leading operatives and labourers clearly and assertively

Preventing unsafe practices through proactive site management

Working across split day and night shifts as required by programme demands

Requirements:

SMSTS or SSSTS and First Aid certification (essential)

PASMA and CSCS cards are beneficial but not essential

Prior experience as Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects

Trade background preferred but not essential

Confident, firm, and able to manage fast-paced site activity

Able to adapt to a rotating shift schedule including occasional night shifts

Location: Oxford Science Park

Interview: 1–2 stages with the Project Lead

Office base: Near Milton Park, Oxford
