Site Manager / Senior Site Manager – Internals Focus (Commercial Build)
📍 Location: Lichfield
📆 Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
💷 Rate: Competitive (Freelance long term contract)
📆 Project Duration: Ongoing
We’re working with a leading main contractor to recruit a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager for a commercial build project based in Lichfield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in internal works and fit-out stages, who can drive quality and progress during key phases of the build.
🧱 The Role:
*
Lead day-to-day site operations with a focus on internal packages
*
Coordinate finishing trades, subcontractors, and deliveries
*
Maintain programme targets, quality control, and Health & Safety standards
*
Report progress to the Project Manager and liaise with clients and consultants
*
Conduct daily briefings, site inductions, and toolbox talks
*
Oversee snagging and handover processes to ensure a high-quality finish
✅ Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Site or Senior Site Manager on commercial builds
*
Strong knowledge and hands-on delivery of internal works / fit-out
*
SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black/White)
*
High attention to detail and ability to drive subcontractor performance
*
Excellent communication and coordination skills
*
Able to work independently and as part of a wider delivery team
