Site Manager (Heritage) required in Essex

GVR Solutions are currently with a long standing and well-established client of ours who specialise in Heritage projects across London and East Anglia. They are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team. As a Site Manager, you will be heavily involved in heritage projects therefore having a real passion for English architecture is highly important.

Responsibilities of the Site Manager are:

* Oversee the day to day running of the site

* Control and implement health and safety on site

* Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation

* Co-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequence

* Schedule materials and deliveries in adequate time

* Attend progress meetings

* Oversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on time

* Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation

* Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally

As a Site Manager you must have/be:

* 5 years’ experience in a site management role

* Experience working within the heritage sector

* Ability to work to programmes and deadlines

* Have a great attention to detail

* CSCS card holder

* SMSTS card holder

* Demonstrate negotiation and problem solving

* Excellent verbal communication skills
