Freelance Site Manager – Industrial Unit Construction
📍 Location: Corby
🗓️ Start Date: May 2025
📆 Initial Duration: 2 Months (with view to 12 Months+)
💷 Rate: Competitive Day Rate (DOE)
We’re working with a leading main contractor who is looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major £25 million industrial unit project based in Corby.
Initially a 2-month contract to support a key phase of the build, with a strong likelihood of extending to project completion (12 months) — providing all parties are happy.
🏗️ Key Responsibilities:
*
Oversee site operations, managing trades and subcontractors
*
Ensure works are delivered on programme, on budget, and to a high quality standard
*
Maintain exceptional health & safety standards across site
*
Carry out inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with RAMS
*
Liaise with Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients as needed
*
Support project progress reporting and site documentation
✅ Requirements:
*
Proven experience managing industrial or large commercial projects
*
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential)
*
Ability to drive site productivity while maintaining safety and quality
*
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*
Based within a commutable distance to Corby
