Site Manager

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor on a major live project at HMP Channings Wood. This is an immediate requirement with a strong possibility of extension or a permanent role for the right individual.

The Role:
You will play a key part in overseeing site operations, with a particular focus on Health & Safety, quality control, and programme management. You will be expected to manage short-term tasks on a daily and weekly basis, while also maintaining a forward-thinking approach with a clear 3–6 month outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

Site leadership and coordination of works

*

Ensuring high standards of H&S compliance

*

Managing and monitoring quality assurance processes

*

Daily, weekly, and long-term programme management

*

Liaising closely with project stakeholders and Tier 1 contractor team

*

Supporting successful delivery against key project milestones

Requirements:

*

Black or Gold CSCS Card

*

SMSTS and First Aid (in-date)

*

Experience working on major projects, preferably in a live or secure environment

*

Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Quality procedures

*

Confident in short and mid-term programme planning and delivery

*

Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing Tier 1 team

*

BPSS / EL1 clearance is essential for this role

Duration: 2 months initially, likely to be extended or go permanent

Working Hours: Standard site hours

*

Holidays: 34 days entitlement
