Job Title: Site Manager – Groundworks (SWQR Required)
Location: Asda Bangor Road
Duration: 6 Weeks (Starting Monday, 12th May)
Rate: £270 per day
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 6-week groundworks project at the Asda site on Bangor Road. The project involves the demolition and reconstruction of a wall. The successful candidate must possess a valid SWQR Streetworks card, as this is a prerequisite for council approval.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise on-site activities, ensuring project timelines and safety standards are adhered to.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Maintain accurate site records and reports.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Valid SMSTS certification.
* CSCS Managers Card.
* SWQR Streetworks card (must be provided before project commencement).
* Asbestos Awareness certification.
* Fire Marshal training.
* First Aid at Work certification.
* Proven experience in managing groundworks projects.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
