A leading organisation delivering facilities and infrastructure support to a number of prestigious clients sites are seeking an experienced Site Facilities Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is a fully site-based role with no travel to other locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering billable works projects – small to mid-sized works (typically up to £100k, with most around £25k) that sit outside of core contractual obligations and require client funding approval.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of small works projects at RAF Benson
* Ensure projects are completed on time, to budget, and within quality and compliance standards
* Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and MOD stakeholders
* Produce and maintain accurate project and financial documentation
* Ensure site works are carried out safely, in line with relevant protocols
Essential Requirements:
* Proven project management experience, ideally in facilities management, construction, or infrastructure environments
* Familiarity with small works projects, including costing and delivery
* Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
* BPSS clearance (or the ability to obtain it)
* Strong proficiency with data and reporting tools
* Comfortable working in a fully site-based role, Monday to Friday
Ideally you will be living within a commutable distance to RAF Benson – due to the nature of the FTC, local candidates are preferred
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented Project Manager who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is a major plus
