The Company
A Lancashire-based Civil Engineering contractor has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a range of civil and new road improvement projects across the Oldham and Rochdale borough.
The Role
You will be working on 278 Works / Public Realm / Paving / Earthworks / New Road Construction / Road Surfacing / Road Junctions / Round About / Drainage / Externals / Landscaping.
Working alongside an existing management team, Project Manager and Site managers.
Setting Out for all the above works.
All associated paperwork / Record Keeping / QA Sub-contract.
Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications.
Prepare and manage setting out data, records, and QA documentation.
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor site progress and provide technical support as needed.
What We're Looking For
As a Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on highways and public realm schemes to be considered for this vacancy.
Civil Engineering/Construction Management Qualification e.g. HNC/HND/Degree level.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word etc.
